George Andriopoulos is the award-winning founder and CEO of Launchpad Five One Six, a New York based management consulting firm providing organizations with the tools and resources to innovate and thrive. A creative disruptor and corporate turnaround artist, George inspires change for businesses and individuals stuck in the mindset of defining themselves by their mistakes. He’s taken his unique journey and experience to the stage as a keynote, motivational, and two-time TEDx speaker delivering talks that spark inspiration and change. George also owns a digital marketing agency, is the host of “The Launchcast,” a leadership podcast launched in 2019 and featured in the Podcast Magazine March 2020 issue’s “Under the Radar” review, and has recently begun providing coaching services to individuals, expanding outside of his company’s consults. George provides leadership coaching through The Leadership Experience, his company’s leadership coaching division, and public speaking/writing coaching as a guest coach on The Joy Revolution. In 2019, he became the organizer and executive producer of TEDxFarmingdale. A co-founder of the non-profit Shannon’s Fight that provides financial aid to families in medical crisis, George also volunteers with the speaker’s bureau at Ronald McDonald House Charities. George’s first book, “Once Upon a TEDx,” will be released in late 2020, fresh off his win as 2020 Business Executive of the Year from IAOTP.
Bill Brennan, Ed.D
Bill Brennan, Ed.D is the Assistant Superintendent for Innovation & Organizational Development in Farmingdale School District. Working with the leadership team in Farmingdale, Bill instituted an overhaul of professional practices related to organizational learning and successfully established Farmingdale Schools and the leadership team as an incubator for innovation in learning. He has published articles on leadership, innovation and professional learning for several publications. Over the past decade he has delivered numerous keynotes and consulted in school districts across the United States on school transformation, professional learning, personalized learning, and leadership. Bill holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Fordham University and currently teachers in the Doctoral program.
Fred P. Banny III
Fred P. Banny III is a husband, social entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, leadership coach, and mentor whose passion is to activate people to purpose.
He dedicated his life to traveling teaching leaders in business, education, and faith. Fred often addresses the critical issues that affect every aspect of development – professional, personal, leadership, social, and spiritual development.
To that end, Fred founded Conversations with Kings (CWK) – an initiative dedicated to developing boys into men and men into leaders of impact and influence. With an unwavering belief that in the right environment, anyone can activate the leader within, Fred creates safe spaces and supportive environments where men can be vulnerable and equipped with proven life principles, perspectives, and resources.
Fred is an ordained minister and lives on Long Island, NY with his wife and purpose partner, Cordelia.
Lorelle Riso is a wife, mother of twins, licensed educator and marketing associate at LaunchpadFive One Six. She has spent the last 15 years teaching business education at both the secondary and collegiate levels, with specialties including marketing, management, finance, and law. In addition to teaching, she assisted in the implementation of the internationally recognized Virtual Enterprise Program where students leave the confines of a traditional classroom and become entrepreneurs, developing and running a business in a virtual economy.
Prior to her foray into teaching, she received two Master’s Degrees (MBA & MS) from Hofstra University. With a passion for all things business, she immediately went to work gaining experience in various capacities such as acting as a liaison between domestic and international offices, managing a Global Purchasing Department, analyzing International financial/accounting records, and even acting as an interim marketing director.
Today, Lorelle lives on Long Island and spends the majority of her time in her most important role as mom. The remainder of her time is dedicated to assisting small businesses with their most vital tasks such as developing business strategy, reconciling accounting records, and creating valuable marketing content.
TEDxFarmingdale 2020 Host
Tricia Brouk is an international award winning director. She has worked in theater, film and television for over three decades. In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, she applies her unique expertise to the art of public speaking. Tricia is the Executive Producer of Speakers Who Dare, and the former Executive Producer of TEDxLincolnSquare in New York City. She has worked on Black Box on ABC, The Affair on Showtime, Rescue Me on Fox, and closely with John Turturro’s Romance and Cigarettes, where she was awarded a Golden Thumb Award from Roger Ebert, for her choreography.
Tricia also curates the Speaker Salon in NYC, an incubator and showcase for emerging speakers, giving speakers the opportunity to get in front of influencers, event organizers, television producers, and TEDx organizers, who can put them onto big stages. Her award winning podcast, The Big Talk has over 250 episodes, where she interviews people who talk for a living, including Stedman Graham.
Tricia was awarded Top Director of 2019 by the International Association of Top Professionals and also makes documentary films about people doing incredible things. To name a few: Just Enough, featuring Jenn Lederer, about being enough as a woman, This Dinner Is Full featuring Chris Schembra about teaching compassion over pasta dinner, Right Livelihood A Journey to Here featuring Justin Von Bujdoss, the Buddhist Chaplain at Riker’s Island won Best Documentary Short at The Olympus Film Festival and You’re Gorgeous, I Love Your Shirt, An Inside Look at Bullying and Mental Health, featuring Tonya and Lyndsey Harris, won the Award of Merit at the Awareness Festival and both are in circulation for an Oscar from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science.
Dana Lopez is the Director of Marketing & Communications for The INN, a Long Island-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve hungry and homeless Long Islanders. She joined The INN’s team in 2013 as the Communications & PR Manager. Using various communications channels, Dana focuses on raising awareness through outreach to the Long Island community, delivering information to educate members of these communities regarding issues of hunger and homelessness on Long Island and how The INN uses a strong philosophy of dignity and respect to combat these issues. Whether speaking to community organizations and corporations, creating website content or utilizing social media platforms, Dana’s delivers the same message; the problems exist and The INN is working towards a solution. A graduate of Hofstra University’s School of Communications (Class of ’99), Dana is also a trained public speaker and spent nearly a decade working in corporate communications, mainly for the Walt Disney Company. As a wife and mother of two young daughters, she is thrilled to be a part of an organization that works so passionately towards helping those who are less fortunate in the community where she lives, works and raises a family.
